We’ve all heard about the struggles of gaining publicity as an emerging creative in Australia. One of those young creatives, Amy Craig, decided to turn words into action by coming up with an idea to showcase the work of Australian artists on take-away coffee cups.
The aim? To connect lovers of art, coffee and cafes through an enduring narrative of creativity.
Judges of the Youth Forum Challenge were impressed by the concept and are funding its implementation coffee shops all over Melbourne.
The project launches on Tuesday, November 16th at 10am at 100 £ Bend on Little Lonsdale St. The cafe will be abuzz with young artists, free lattes and snacks, making for a fun mid-morning break. Head to www.thecupproject.com.au for more info.
