As The Rolling Stones celebrate their 50th anniversary, Mick Jagger has also celebrated his 68th birthday and the fact that the elixir of youth does exist. At least it did, until he drank the whole thing and got on stage with Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire to prove that he is probably the most able-bodied 68-year-old man around.

Countless reporters and photographers have documented The Stones’ 50-year career, including music journalist Hanspeter Kuenzler. His treasure trove of photographs is so gigantic that he’s teamed up with The eBook People to produce a book of over 2000 pages with 150 images.

50 Years: The Rolling Stones – Views from the Inside, Views from the Outside is an eBook that comes in two parts and is filled with some of the best journalistic material from the band’s career. It includes feature articles from major newspapers and magazines with comments from the band and the people who knew them best.

Part 1 covers the first 25 years – from the band’s early days in the UK and their ‘British Invasion’ of America and is available from Amazon and iTunes this July.

We’ve got one free copy of the eBook to give away. For your chance to win, email your name and email address to competitions@yenmag.net with the subject heading “Happy Birthday Mick” and tell us what you’d give Jagger for his birthday and why. the most creative entry wins!
