Brian W. Ferry

By Sarah Lakos | 4 September 2012

Brian W. Ferry’s photography makes the mundane poetic and romantic. Going through his photos online, it was hard not to post up every image for you to enjoy. Head to Brian’s website to peruse all his photos – you’ll be there for at least an hour.

Brian used to be a lawyer, but left the profession to follow his passion for photography. Sharing his time between London and New York, Brian has worked with London based fashion brands and Starbucks in New York. He’s now settled in New York city and thrives on taking photographs of the mundane and extraordinary existing together.

He’s said, “…it’s really important for me to create work that is interesting to me, first and foremost. I am my own toughest critic. If I created work while constantly worrying about “the pack” and how others will receive my photography, it would be paralyzing (and I think my photos would be lifeless and dull).”
