The wait is over! After 10 long years, glam-rock icon David Bowie has released a new single.

Where Are We Now?’ is the first song off his 30th studio recording, The Next Day, which will be available in Australia in March.

Written and recorded in New York, the pensive track is his first in over a decade. Tony Oursler directed the haunting video which harks back to Bowie’s time in Berlin. He’s seen looking in on footage of the auto repair shop beneath the apartment he lived in.

It’s no ‘Let’s Dance,’ but it’s nice to have Bowie back.

It’s beautiful, it’s like the sonnet of an older party boy/rockstar. It’s touching.
