Holy smokes! Cat Power is headed for Australia. Armed with her ace new album Sun and a brand new band, Chan Marshall will be gracing the stage at Golden Plains Festival to play Saturday evening at sunset. The rest of the line-up will be announced later this month, as if we needed another reason to go. The festival is still BYO, has no commercial sponsors and rigorously enforced “No Dickeheads” rule.

Golden Plains will take place from March 9-11 in Meredith, Victoria.
