Place of Assembly

By Sarah Lakos | 12 September 2012

The Schoolhouse Studios in Abbotsford will be demolished at the end of this year. It has been the workplace for over 75 artists over the last two years and to celebrate their work, along with some guest artists, founders Elizabeth Barnett and Alice Glenn are curating a two week, site-wide exhibition. “Place of Assembly brings together the artists-in-residence, along with 12 guest artists and the general public, to celebrate the diverse and vibrant 120-year history of the site.”
