Grab your comrades and head to the 2012 Russian Resurrection Film Festival in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Perth.
It’s for all those who love Russian culture, European accents, entertainment, subtitles, history and vodka (so everybody, no?)
Both new and classic films from Russian directors and writers are included in this year’s festival; There Once Lived a Simple Old Woman, Vysotsky, Six Degrees of Celebration (the original film and its sequel), animated favourite Ivan Tsarevich and the Grey Wolf, and the 1956, eight-hour masterpiece, War and Peace.
Head to their website for more information about the films and tickets.
