What do you do?
I guess you could simplify it by saying I shoot people, portraits, fashion and lifestyle.

Tell us about your camera.
It’s a Polaroid 600 SE, known as “The Goose”. I can’t remember where I got it from but it wasn’t cheap, a few thousand many years ago. I love the imperfections in the images. I use it less these days, but drag it out for shoots every now and then to get some really interesting images.

Why is this your favourite photo?
It’s of one of my favourite boards and was taken out at Boat Harbour near Cronulla. I have good memories of being out there with my daughters in summer. It is great in the afternoon when the sun is going down, the water is warm and the reefs are pumping.

Why do you take photos?
I love the stories you can tell, the interaction between people. It doesn’t matter whether it is a model, actor, artist or banker. We’re in this life together. Sounds wanky but it’s true. Plus it’s better than a real job!
