YEN loves animals. Not just in this issue. Think issue 18, when we revealed how pigs live in horrific, yet legal conditions. Or think issue 19, when we reported on the primate abuse occurring in the US. Sadly, that’s nowhere near the end of it. Issue 20 tackled the sad truth about animals in pet shops. Show your support buy NOT asking how much that doggy is in the window. And if you do see an animal unfairly treated in a pet shop report it to your local council or the RSPCA. On the topic of animals being treated unfairly, issue 20 investigated artists killing animals for art. We spoke to the artists, curators as well as a PETA representative to show all sides if the story.

On a lighter note, we couldn't miss the opportunity to prop YEN's amazing fashion team. The month of Issue 20 saw David Bonney (fashion director) busy styling Marnie Skillings' A/W '06 show. While fashion editor, Imogene Barron helped guys label 'Material Boy' by walking down the catwalk for them at Melbourne Fashion Week.
