Issue # 24 was titled The Next World, not because YEN became experimental scientists who discovered a new, trendy planet to reside on, but in honour of the next wave of fashion for S/S 06/07. The cover featured two of Australia’s top up-and-coming models, Louise Van De Vorst and Danika Murphy wearing one of YEN’s fave designers clothes, Tina Kalavis.

Also, after months of sifting through entrants to the inaugural Young women of the Year Awards 2006, the nominees were announced across the nine categories. The standard that poured out from the first ever batch of nominees were to make it extremely hard for the public and judges to decide on the finalists.
