Back Issues
I LOVE MONDAYS!
Yes, you read correctly. I never ever get Mondayitis, instead I get truly excited to wake up on the first day of a working week and head into the YEN office. My boyfriend thinks I'm mad. "How come you love going to work so much?!" he often asks. I've thought about this a lot lately I interviewed a couple of young women this issue who feel the same way like artist and all round creative, Beci Orpin. She even feels disadvantaged because she couldn't work in any other industry but the creative one she's a part of.
It's such a great feeling to love the job you're in. I recently had a reader text me that YEN had given her the motivation to quit her medical degree to take on art school. BUT while the creative industry is a very exciting place to work in, it's not for everyone. I believe that you should conquer what ever is in your heart, whether it's becoming an accountant, a marine biologist or a starting up your own poodle washing business. I'd love to hear what you've conquered lately, text me at 0448 265 175.
Let me know what you think of the issue, enjoy!

P.S: If you haven't already sussed out V energy drink's latest project, V-Raw, you should definitely bookmark their myspace page, www.myspace.com/vraw. For all those peeps looking for other creatives to join forces with to create what ever takes your creative fancy, whether it be a zine or fashion shoot, email me with your details. We'll try and hook you up with other like-minded people. I'll need your full name, age, profession/student status, myspace page and a 50 word brief on what you want to create and who with. Your details will then be put up on the V-Raw myspace so you can network with others. Once you're project is complete we'd love to see it and perhaps give you the chance to get it published in YEN magazine. Good luck!
