Photographer, style blogger and model Candice Lake, was recently in Australia for the launch of ManeNocte, a low-maintenance, high-result skin care line. She also took some time out to tell us about her beauty favourites.
CANDICE’S TIPS
What is your daily beauty regime?
Cleanse, moisturise, Paw Paw, sunscreen, cleanse.
I was lucky to be born with good skin, so I’ve never spent too much time on it. A little moisturiser and SPF and I’m good to go! ManeNocte suits my lifestyle because it squeezes an entire skincare regime into just two products. I don’t really have time for serum, moisturiser, eye cream every day, I’m all about low maintenance without jeopardising results. Plus the range is great for travelling. Two products and I’m set.
What are your beauty essentials?
Paw Paw, red lipstick, Touche Eclat, sleep.
What do you always pack when you travel?
The above, lots of chargers, a book, my Givenchy jacket, a little black dress.
Any secret weapons for drab days?
A big hat and hug from my boyfriend.
Who inspires you?
My mum.
Lipstick, lipgloss or lip balm?
Lipstick and lip balm.
Liquid or pencil eyeliner?
Neither. Only occasionally a lick of mascara.
