Live Your Best Retro Life With Client Liaison’s New Swimwear Line
Put your chokers in the air if you can’t get enough of the decade that brought you Nirvana, Round the Twist and belly shirts. Living early ’90s throwback Client Liaison have put their synth-inspired creativity into designing their own swimwear range just in time for summer. Inspired by the decade of bright bike shorts and the Kerrigan family, it’s as if this collection just burst out of a 1991 time capsule. The range includes bumbags, chambray shorts, oversized tees, budgie smugglers, high cut one-pieces, sunglass straps and legionnaire hats. Everything is unisex so you can finally be matchy-matchy with your significant other.
The band’s Monte Morgan and Harvey Miller combined their eccentric talent and signature pop style with Makers of Belief designer Kirsty Barros to encapsulate the Australian summer through high casual beachwear. “The collection is the ultimate summer pack of gender-free easy wear for an endless summer of fun in the sun,” Barros says. “Pretty pastels reflecting the ease and effortless of Australian culture through fun and functional pieces with a little something for everyone.”
In celebration of the launch of these cool cossies, the boys will be holding pop up stores in both Melbourne and Sydney where you can enjoy drinks and food curated by Client Liaison and take in a live DJ set while you spend the bulk of your tax return on their retro wares. The Melbourne pop up store launch is tonight at Collarts in Fitzroy from 6-9pm with the store open til Sunday, while Sydney’s pop up opens next week with a venue to be advised. The collection is set to drop on their website in the coming days.
Client Liaison’s new album, Diplomatic Immunity, is available now.
