Chakras are centers of energy, located on the midline of the body. There are seven of them, and they govern our psychological properties. The chakras located on the lower part of our body are our instinctual side, the highest ones our mental side. Ideally, all chakras would contribute to our being. Our instincts would work together with our feelings and thinking. However, this is usually not the case. Some chakras are not open enough (being under-active), and to compensate, other chakras are over-active. The ideal state is where the chakras are balanced. To find out what the state of your chakras is, do the chakra test.
Or pop down to Zen Day Spa in Darlinghurst and get a Chakra Balancing treatment.

This 14 year old is talented... "I don't know why I started taking photographs and I don't know why I signed up for that darkroom photography class that changed my life. But whatever emotion or idea that possessed me to do so, I think I might love it." - Olivia Bee

Originally a graffiti artist raised in Sydney, Phibs is now based in Melbourne. In the last few years he has been making the transition from wall to canvass and concentrating on exhibition work. Also connected to a melbourne collective studio called everfresh, who has played a major role in the rise and recognition of street art in Australia. Phibs work is inspired by his fascination of the natural world and an interest in mythology and symbols
of different cultures. He has developed a unique, decorative style that can be recognized from a glance. Phibs brings some of his latest works back to his home town this September at china heights.
Show opens Friday September 5, from 6.30pm and continues 12-5pm daily until end of Wednesday September 10. 257 CROWN ST D'LINGHURST

Mr Ronny is a grateful man enjoying life more than most people. He often jumps for joy and since he has no arms his buttcrack always shows.

To me, Audrey Tautou will always be Amélie . To others, soon, she will be Coco. But still I can't wait for the release of 'Coco avant Chanel' in 2009.
