YEN is pleased to announce our media partnership with the 'Winter Secrets Tour' by Clare Bowditch.
Touring across the country with a brand new rollicking solo show throughout June and July, the 'Winter Secrets Tour' promises intimate evenings of songs, stories and special guests (many of whom she is yet to meet; please see “Competition” here). Armed with guitars, loop pedals and an array of the world’s oddest instruments, these shows are a one off solo experiment that will see Clare performing far and wide across the country.
These will be Clare's last Aus shows for some time before she relocates to Berlin to pursue exciting European opportunities including intensive touring and an imminent album release. This tour will do more than keep you warm this winter. More info & dates here.

YEN is proud to be associated with the enchanting Kimya Dawson as we announce our partnership for her upcoming Australian tour. With the voice of a happy-go-lucky child and a spirit to match, Kimya Dawson captured hearts the world over with her work on the Juno soundtrack. In particular, the sweetly heartfelt serenade, "anyone else but you" formed the basis of one of the award winning film's most cherished scenes.
With the ability to convey tenderness, intelligence, light, humour and originality - Kimya Dawson is everything you could want in a musician and we at YEN can't wait for you to fall in love with her as much as we have. Shows kick off in June - for more info and details on dates head here.

Get those hot little hands of yours on the latest issue of DAZED & CONFUSED Aus/NZ - YEN's aussie brother. Not only is it produced by a stunningly handsome and virile team of hot aussie men (& women)... - it's a damn good read too.

John Oakes, a 70-year-old man working as Santa in a Cairns department store has apparently been sacked (and no I don’t mean that in the bag-full-of- toys sense) for saying "ho ho ho" to customers. His employer sparked what the mainstream news is calling a ‘national outrage’ when it directed its 500-strong cast of shopping center Santas to say "ha ha ha" instead of "ho ho ho" because it could be derogatory to women. Oakes said he was devastated to be stepping out of the red suit but that he bears no grudge towards his former employers and instead is now looking for a new job. Other comments like ‘I’d love to slide down that chimney’ we’re seen as ok.

Insight's it's "almost" Christmas party set off the festive season with a bang! The Oxford Art Factory packed out with fashion, music, skate, surf and arts finest, downing Jager shots, Smirnoff cocktails and Sol beer, getting messy to the tunes of Chicks on Speed, Straight Arrows, Surf City and The Disbelievers (to name a few). Steve Gorrow's art took over the gallery wall and a lucky 250 guests also walked home with a limited edition tee made just for the night.
