YEN is proud to be associated with the enchanting Kimya Dawson as we announce our partnership for her upcoming Australian tour. 

With the voice of a happy-go-lucky child and a spirit to match, Kimya Dawson captured hearts the world over with her work on the Juno soundtrack. In particular, the sweetly heartfelt serenade, "anyone else but you" formed the basis of one of the award winning film's most cherished scenes.

Fans will also know Kimya as one half of the NewYork indie duo, the Moldy Peaches. Together with band-mate Adam Green, Dawson was an early champion of the anti-folk music scene; juxtaposing impassioned political stands with kooky sentiment and playing just as comfortably on street corners as at sell-out shows with The Strokes.

With the ability to convey tenderness, intelligence, light, humour and originality - Kimya Dawson is everything you could want in a musician and we at YEN can't wait for you to fall in love with her as much as we have.
