Fashion and Art for Japan

By Bonita Silva | 22 March 2011

The blogosphere is full of generous creatives selling their wares to help Japan. Here are a few of our faves…

Ebony Bizys of the blog Hello Sandwich is donating all profits from sales of her Gift Wrapping Zine to the Red Cross. With 64 pages of how-to guides on personalising presents, the zine covers every aspect of gift-giving, from creative tags, to fabric wrapping, to handwriting style. It’s a cheap way to help at only $5 a pop.

For the artistically inclined, Kate over at For Me, For You has compiled a list of similar whole-profit donation websites from creative individuals selling their work.

For the the fashion hungry, Opening Ceremony have released limited edition tees emblazoned with a red dot to show solidarity with the country. Every cent of the $30 will go towards the post earthquake and tsunami relief efforts of the Red Cross.
