LP33.3 is the new label on the block

Again, we bring you more promising Australian designers! Luke Hosking and Paul del Giglio’s label, LP33.3 is making waves in the women’s wear world. Both designers have created LP33.3 on the back of careers at Blumarine, Zimmerman and Alice McCall.

The label name is an acronym for Luke and Paul, and the 33.3 references the infinite loop concept. This may be so, but theres nothing repetitive about their expert tailoring or genius construction.

Their SS2012 collection was inspired by Sirens in The Odyssey – powerful seductive women who lured sailors onto the rocky coast of their island. The collection hangs in delicate balance between soft floaty suspension and definite lines of well thought-out tailoring. Soft feminine blues and shell tones are offset by the intense saffron and deep ink.

We’re putting LP33.3 in our ‘ones to watch’ file. You can find out more at their website, lp333.net
