Perth’s Fashion Festival this September was a whirlwind of brilliant WA fashion and events. Our fashion director, Pip Vassett, shares some snaps and her festival highlights!
One Fell Swoop opened the festival with beautiful fabrics and clever techniques.
Flannel presented their collection to around 250 guests at the West Australian Museum. The models lounged around in 1920s inspired looks, while guests sipped on champagne. A three course dinner was served during the show. A favourite experience at PFF!
The closing night was a black tie masquerade, where Giving Back Is The New Black was the theme. Seventeen of Perth’s well known designers sent a black dress down the runway for charity. Ellery, One Fell Swoop, Morrison, and Poppy Lissiman were just some of the designers involved. The dresses will then be auctioned for the charity which assists disadvantaged and disabled women in finding employment.
