Tean dreamz
Posted 6th May 2008 by Katie May Ruscoe
As their name would suggest, Parisian trio The Teenagers are fun, funny and flooded with hormones. On blog-flogged singles like Homecoming and Starlett Johansson, Dorian dumont and Michael Szpiner lead off with good intentions (all catchy synth-lines and hum-a-long guitars) but before long, lead singer Quentin Delafon has taken things for a dirty, albeit humourous, turn: his heavily accented English doing little to hide sweaty-palmed lyrics that are heavy with the misguided perviness of any teenage boy. The formula is touching fans
somewhere though, as The Teenagers have recently gone from Myspace darlings to "international cool kids". You can find out why when the band tour Australia this June! The Teenagers play brisbane on June 12 before heading to Melbourne, June 13 and Sydney, June 14. Tickets available now. (www.moshtix.com.au)
